This diploma thesis explores the integration of thermal bath facilities and guest houses into the natural landscape of Kavasila, Ioannina. The design responds to the character of the sulphurous hot spring and the steep riverside terrain, creating a sequence of spaces partially embedded in the ground and oriented towards the natural flow of the Sarantaporos River.

The proposal is structured around two main elements: the bathing facilities and the cluster of guest houses. The thermal baths are organised on two levels, forming an inward-facing spatial core shaped by the movement of the warm river, while the guest houses are dispersed within the forest, offering a secluded experience in direct relation to the surrounding vegetation.

A network of redesigned pathways connects the two programmes, incorporating stone paving and subtle sculptural interventions that guide visitors through the landscape. The architectural language is defined by earthy materials, low volumes, and linear forms that emerge from the terrain, aiming to preserve and enhance the wild atmosphere of the site.
